Did you know Albany, NY was the first city to create a municipal landing site for airplanes? Starting as a single landing strip located on a former polo field three miles north of the city, today Albany International Airport rests on 1,200 acres and supports an average of 55 commercial arrivals and departures daily. As air travel increased at the modern Albany Airport, so did the need for airport parking.

In 1988 a family owned business out of Westford, CT began an off-site airport parking business serving Albany County Airport guests with secure, affordable parking accommodations. This was the birth of Albany Park Ride & Fly. Starting with one parking facility at the Albany County Airport, the parent company- Park Ride & Fly USA- grew to offer travelers 50 off-site airport parking locations throughout the U.S. at its peak. The parent company was sold in 2018, leaving the original owners with just Albany Park Ride & Fly.
